Durham bartender and trivia host Arturo Sanchez simulcasts trivia nights from Bull McCabe's Irish Pub every Wednesday and from Fullsteam Brewing every other Thursday. You can play in person at the bar, or online from your own home. Either way, you submit your answers using the form on this website. Only teams playing in-person at the bar are eligible to win prizes for Bull McCabe's trivia or Fullsteam Trivia.
You don't need anything other than a web browser to play. If you want to use the group chat online, you'll need to make sure you're logged in to your Twitch account. If you don't already have a Twitch account, it is free to sign up and you should do that now, before the game starts.
- You can play on your own, or with a team of up to 6 people.
- If you're playing with a team, choose one person to be responsible for submitting your answers.
- Each round is made up of 10 questions. Type your answer to each question in the corresponding form field below the video window. Do not post answers to questions in the chat.
- Wait until the end of each round to submit your answers.
- There are 3 rounds on Wednesdays, and 4 rounds on Thursdays.
- On Wednesdays there are also "shoutout rounds" between rounds, where you can win bonus prizes form our sponsors by shouting out the answer in between rounds if you are playing in the bar. Sorry, online players, only folks playing in person can win.
- At the end of all three rounds, the team with the highest total score will win a $50 gift card to Bull McCabe's (Wednesdays) or Fullsteam Brewery (Thursdays.) Again, you must be playing in person to win prizes. Online teams are just playing for bragging rights.
- Don't cheat! Looking up answers on the internet, using Shazam, or using anything other than your own brains to come up with the answers is considered cheating, and your fellow competitors will run you out of town for cheating.
- Don't be a dick. Everybody's here to have fun.
